TMDY # 7 Mawlamyine and Thanbyuzayat; Remermbrance of the Past (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1: Yangon – Mawlamyine
Depart early morning for ten hours drive to Mawlamyine, crossing the Thanlwin Bridge which is newly opened at 2005. Overnight in Mawlanmyine.

Day 2: Mawlamyine – Thanbyuzayat
After breakfast, two hours morning drive to the cemetery for the Commonwealth and Allied servicemen of World War II. Japanese tourists would be interested to visit the pagoda and monument for Japanese soldiers who fell in World War II. Then a visit to Mudon’s hand weaving workshops. Return to Mawlamyine to explore the town with its old colonial buildings, the colourful market and the peaceful small monastery. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 3: Mawlamyine – Yangon
After breakfast return to Yangon by land route.
