TMDY # 1 - Yangon (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1: Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Int’l Airport and transfer to hotel with afternoon at leisure. Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon
A full day tour to discover the colourful capital of Myanmar with a close look at the local life of this historical city. By car and partly on foot this tour takes you to the Landmark of the city centre, Sule Pagoda. Walk around the Mahabandoola Park to see the colonial courthouse and the city hall. From there a downtown city orientation tour covering the old colonial centre of Yangon. Continue to visit National Museum & Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Images. In the afternoon visit Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) market, Chinatown and the fruit market. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon
You will visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Maha Pasana Guha Cave (where the sixth Buddhist synod took place in 1952), Buddhist Art Museum and traditional jewellery and gemstone workshop to observe the cutting and polishing of precious gemstones. Visit nearby Naga Hlainggu Kalewa Tawya Monastery where over 1300 monks and novices reside. Transfer to Yangon Airport for departure.
