Bagan Hotel

Description

On a beautiful garden site, the architect has combined ancient influence and modern services and offers the visitor to spend his stay amid pagodas and spacious tropical gardens near the banks of Ayeyarwaddy River. Sampling western and traditional cuisine, refreshing beverages served by ever smiling, friendly members of the staff make the sunrises and sunsets or the river cruises an unforgettable adventure.

Location

The Bagan Hotel is located on the banks of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy river, right in the heart of Old Bagan, and about 10 minutes drive from the Nyaung Oo (Bagan) airport. The hotel is literally next door to both the spectacular Gawdawpalin Temple and the Archaelogical Museum, and just a few minutes walk from major must see ancient sites such as Ananda Temple "The jewel of Bagan".
There are regular flights connecting Bagan with Yangon, Thandwe (Ngapali Beach), Mandalay and Heho (Inle Lake). Offices of Air Mandalay and Myanmar Airways are both 5 minutes away from our doorstep.
The hotel is surrounded by pagodas, and is only minutes away from the archeological museum and all the famous sites in Bagan.

Having two ancient pagodas in its lush tropical garden, the hotel's unique architecture remains loyal to authentic Myanmar culture and ancient Bagan tradition.
Single storey bungalow style buildings with dark teak wood exteriors and inlaid sculptures of mythical figures are interconnected with archways of tropical plants and trees. All rooms are tastefully decorated in teak wood from flooring to wall panelling and furnished with every comfort for the discerning traveller.
