Amata Resort

Description

The Amata, Myanmar 's most exclusive international resort, stretches along the beautiful shoreline of Ngapali , Myanmar 's premier beach. The resort covers more than five acres of tropical wonderland and guests are luxuriously accommodated in seventy teak, bamboo, cane and rattan cabanas, bungalows and suites. The resort is flanked by a 400 metre seaside boardwalk.
Most cabanas and bungalows are secluded, and privacy is provided by thickets of lush Asian foliage. Soak tubs, interior bathrooms and an added ?au naturel' outdoors shower, again protected by the privacy of lush green growth, add a sensuous touch to the Amata experience.
The resort was designed by the state-of-the-art New York architectural firm, Spine, with a brief to capture the languid beauty of a traditionally Asian setting.
The result is an exquisitely modern resort that basks in the ancient luxury of tropical South East Asian.

Location

The Amata Spa & Resort is located near the delightful Mya Pyin village at Ngapali Beach. The nearest airport is at Thandwe, an enjoyable 15 minute drive from the resort. Thandwe Airport is a convenient 45 minute direct flight from Yangon.
